when you purchase a plugin, we collect your email address and name through paddle, our payment processor.
when you request a free trial, we collect your email address via the trial form on this website in order to send you the trial download link.
when you activate or use a plugin, the plugin sends the following data to our license server: machine identifier (a hardware ID unique to your computer, hashed with SHA-256 before storage so the original value is never retained), operating system, host application (e.g. your DAW), and plugin version.
your email and name are used for license key delivery and management. machine identifiers are used to enforce the activation limit (3 machines per license). operating system, host application, and plugin version are used for compatibility tracking and support. the legal basis for this processing is contractual necessity (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) — we need this data to deliver and manage the license you purchased.
if you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your email address with
your explicit consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). we use a double opt-in process:
you must confirm your subscription by clicking a link in a confirmation
email before being added to the list.
our mailing list is managed by

data directly; we never see your card details.

— processes emails on our behalf for license delivery, mailing list, and
trial notifications.

— hosts our database where license and activation data is stored. servers
are located in the EU.
vercel
— hosts our website and API. vercel processes requests and provides the
country code used in our analytics.
paddle operates from the UK, which has an EU adequacy decision in place. our database is hosted in the EU (turso). vercel processes requests at edge locations worldwide under their data processing agreement.
your email is stored for the duration of your license plus 2 years after expiration, then deleted.
we collect anonymous page view statistics using our own server. no third party analytics services are used. your IP address is hashed and rotated daily, so it cannot identify you across days. we do not use cookies or client side tracking scripts.
under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure,
restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data.
